I'm not just a fundraiser at City Year - I'm also their national go-to video editor during the pandemic! City Year AmeriCorps members serve in schools all day, every day, preparing students with the social, emotional, and academic skills and mindsets to succeed in school and in life. I have been a proud staff member of City Year New Hampshire since 2015.
It's been tough for City Year sites to adjust to working from home, virtual learning, virtual service, etc. all while trying to close out the school year. I've been recruited by my company to create videos for graduations, virtual events, and celebrations. Though it's hard to be separated, it is nice to use this time to use my video editing skills to support my colleagues across the country.

City Year NH's 20th Anniversary in-person event had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we honored City Year NH alumni at the 2020 graduation.
City Year New Hampshire's Virtual Office Tour
As part of the 20th Anniversary celebration, we had intended on holding tours of City Year NH's new building. Unfortunately, we weren't able to because of the stay-at-home orders. Instead, I compiled a video tour of the new space. This was played at the 20th Anniversary virtual event.
